Why We Created These Lessons

Dr. Danielle Reid was frustrated with the limited career education curriculum that focuses on life skill development for young kids and middle schoolers. She was equally concerned about the lack of employability and transferable skill building for high schoolers and those entering the workforce for the first time A first of its kind, she designed and developed these lessons for any educator to use in any learning space. You Found Us!

I’m Dr. Danielle Reid, nice to meet you! I founded Think Skill Tools to support the many, many teachers and parents who are career coaches to students (often without assuming the title!). One thing I learned on my own career journey – your transferable skills are hidden superpowers; they keep you marketable in the workforce. Recognizing this, we are creating products that help students identify their transferable skills, explore career clusters in a fun way, and achieve every single career goal with strategy.

An Environmental Toxicologist, Industrial Hygienist, wife, and homeschool mom to three amazing kids, I am a huge believer that dreaming big is 100% possible, with a sound strategy…I am a living testimony of this. I hope the career learning resources we build and design remind you that career learning really can be easy, simple, and fun, whether you are the teacher or student!
